The Texas Alliance of Information and Referral Services is part of the National Alliance of Information and Referral Services. To learn more, visit www.airs.org.

There are currently 25 active 2-1-1 call centers operating in Texas. Texas 2-1-1 is a public/private partnership between the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and 25 local Area Information Centers (AIC) comprised of United Ways, Community Councils, Area Agencies on Aging, nonprofits, health districts, and local Workforce Boards.

Dear Affiliates:

I am writing to you on behalf of the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems, Inc (AIRS) Executive Committee to inform you that Lori Warrens has ended her service as Executive Director for personal reasons. Lori has made many contributions to AIRS as a board member and then as Executive Director. We appreciate her past service and wish her well on her future career path.

I hope to touch base with all of you shortly to tell you personally about some of AIRS transition plans.

We are also still trying to put together contact lists of people we need to notify. It would be appreciated if you could notify your members through your communications channels.
