In a visit coordinated by Amy Price, the 2-1-1 Community Information Director showed TexVet around the call centers and offered a briefing on the various services offered while exploring ways to work together. Amy and Peter Kretzschmar discussed the \u201csuburbanization of poverty\u201d and some of the most prevalent needs in Central Texas \u2013 housing and food assistance. These are similar to the needs of the most vulnerable veterans contacting TexVet.
